He is standing at the door, laden with the gifts of heaven, white raiment, and eye-salve which I am told is the gift of the Holy Spirit. Admit Him, or at least lift the latch of the will, so that He may push the door back and enter. We shouldn’t even attempt to deal with the squalor within; He will see to that, cleanse up, and enrich. Do not try to provide supper; He will bring t His own flesh and blood hallelujah, father have mercy what a pitiful state we are in.
