1Peter continues to explore the themes of suffering for the Christian. he identifies the inevitability of suffering IF a follower of Christ is consistently living by God's Word. This is then contrasted with those who suffer because they are living wrong. The believers are then reminded that there will be a judgment of ALL people. An account of our actions must be given before God. What makes the difference is the relationship with God.
