meditation was not invented in the 1960 when everyone was going to the east visiting Gurus. the Psalmist writing over 2000 years ago encouraged its readers to meditate on God's words. The Bible mentions meditation or meditating at least 19 times in the psalms alone. what does it mean to meditate? is it important to meditate on God's word? what does this involve? Join me as we try to answer these important question in this study.

The hope is that we would not be like King Midas and ask that everything you touch would turn to gold. this week we will continue looking at some of the precious gifts that that God has given His believers. the inspired writings of EG White tell us that there is a demarcation between those who serve God and those who do not the Psalmist in psalms 4:3 says that God has set apart the Godly for himself: the lord will hear when i call unto him.

Psalms 19;! says: The heavens declare the glory of God; and the firmament sheweth his handywork.. inspite of mans effort there is still beauty all around the psalmist summons us to praise the Lord for His goodness towards us the children of men. many of the psalms asks us to praise and give thanks to the Lord. join me as we join with the Gods creation to praise and thank him.

The theme of the Bible is love from Genesis to Revelation it’s all about love. We use the word Amazing love. Amazing means great surprise wonder causing great astonishment, incredible, unbelievable these are just some of the words that we use to describe the love of God towards humankind.

Jesus says because we love Him the father loves us because we believe that he came from the father.

Circumstances may change but we need to always remember God’s love for us remains the say. He says I have loved you with an everlasting love with loving kindness I have drawn you.

The world is full of shams scams. Counterfeit coins; counterfeit jewels are worn, fake hand bags. Let’s be aware against a counterfeit religion. It betrays itself, even well-meaning friends can lead us off the Spiritual highway of life, for this reason we have to remain focused on Jesus:
counterfeit religion does not involve the denial of self. Our Lord compares this to entrance by a strait gate and walking on a narrow path. It is the way of the Cross. The Apostle Paul advices us to put on the whole amour of God to be able to make it through these difficult time.

David flees from the king hiding in caves, he is chased like a wild animal hiding in the wilderness he pleads with God to preserve him. Here is a picture of a man who is surrounded by foes yet he lifts up his eyes to the one whom he knows can and will rescue him. As usual God sends him help from His sanctuary. we know that David did eventually become king. God calls us the apple of His eye His wish is to not only preserve us like He did David but He will allow us to prosper just like David.

What does it mean that we have a father in heaven? How does God compare to our earthly parents? What does the Bible say about this idea?
Jesus also reiterates this idea of God as our father by using the parable of the lost son in luke 15:11-32. He details the story of two sons and their father. One of these sons took his inheritance and squandered it. As he began to starve, he realized he was no longer worthy of being a son in his father’s household. He returned home to ask to work as a hired hand. However, his father embraced him and welcomed him home with a celebration — not as a hired hand, but as a son.
